Musnad Ahmad
ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3252

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَقُولَ إِنِّي خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى نَسَبَهُ إِلَى أَبِيهِ ، أَصَابَ ذَنْبًا ، ثُمَّ اجْتَبَاهُ رَبُّهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is not appropriate for any prophet to say that I am better than Yunus bin Matta, peace be upon him. He made a minor slip, then his Lord chose him."
