ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3238

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ خَثْعَمَ ، قَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ فَرِيضَةَ اللَّهِ فِي الْحَجِّ أَدْرَكَتْ أَبَاهَا شَيْخًا كَبِيرًا ، لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَثْبُتَ عَلَى الرَّحْلِ ، أَفَأَحُجُّ عَنْهُ ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a woman from the tribe of Khath'am came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! The obligation of Hajj has been imposed by Allah upon my father, but he has become so old that he cannot even sit on a mount. Can I perform Hajj on his behalf? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Yes!"
