It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you have stoned the Jamrah of Aqabah, then everything becomes lawful for you except women." A man asked: "Is it also permissible to use perfume?" Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) replied: "I myself have seen with my own eyes the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) applying musk perfume to his head. Is that not perfume or not?"
