ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3190

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِقَصْعَةٍ مِنْ ثَرِيدٍ ، فَقَالَ : " كُلُوا مِنْ حَوْلِهَا ، وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْ وَسْطِهَا ، فَإِنَّ الْبَرَكَةَ تَنْزِلُ فِي وَسْطِهَا " . قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ : مِنْ جَوَانِبِهَا أَوْ مِنْ حَافَتَيْهَا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that a bowl of tharid was presented to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: "Eat from the edges of the bowl (dish), and do not eat from the middle, for indeed, blessing descends in the middle of the food (and spreads to all sides)."
