ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3181

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا حَسَّانَ الْأَعْرَجَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي الْهُجَيْمِ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مَا هَذِهِ الْفُتْيَا الَّتِي قَدْ تَشَغَّفَتْ أَوْ تَشَعَّبَتْ بِالنَّاسِ " أَنَّ مَنْ طَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ فَقَدْ حَلَّ ، فَقَالَ : سُنَّةُ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَإِنْ رَغِمْتُمْ " .
Abu Hassan says that a man from Banu Hajim asked Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them): O Abu al-Abbas! What is the reality of this fatwa that has become very famous among the people, that whoever performs Tawaf of the House of Allah becomes halal? He replied: This is the Sunnah of your Prophet (peace be upon him), even if it is unpleasant to you.
