ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3119

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ . وَحَجَّاجٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ : " كَيْفَ أُصَلِّي إِذَا كُنْتُ بِمَكَّةَ ، إِذَا لَمْ أُصَلِّ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ ؟ فَقَالَ : رَكْعَتَيْنِ ، سُنَّةَ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Musa bin Salamah says that once I asked Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when I am in Makkah Mukarramah and cannot pray with the Imam, how many rak'ahs should I pray? He replied: Two rak'ahs, because this is the Sunnah of Abul Qasim (peace be upon him).
