ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3104

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عِيسَى أَبُو بِشْرٍ الرَّاسِبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ : كُنْتُ غُلَامًا أَسْعَى مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ ، فَالْتَفَتُّ ، فَإِذَا أَنَا بِنَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَلْفِي مُقْبِلًا ، فَقُلْتُ : مَا جَاءَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا إِلَيَّ ، قَالَ : فَسَعَيْتُ حَتَّى أَخْتَبِئَ وَرَاءَ بَابِ دَارٍ ، قَالَ : فَلَمْ أَشْعُرْ حَتَّى تَنَاوَلَنِي ، فَأَخَذَ بِقَفَايَ ، فَحَطَأَنِي حَطْأَةً ، فَقَالَ : " اذْهَبْ فَادْعُ لِي مُعَاوِيَةَ " قَالَ : وَكَانَ كَاتِبَهُ ، فَسَعَيْتُ فَأَتَيْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، فَقُلْتُ : أَجِبْ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَإِنَّهُ عَلَى حَاجَةٍ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by me while I was playing with the children. I went and hid behind a door. I did not realize that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had caught me, and he lovingly grabbed me by the nape and playfully threw me to the ground. Then he sent me to Sayyiduna Amir Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) to call him. He was the scribe of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I ran to him and said, "Go to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he has some work with you."
