ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3102

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَيْتِ مَيْمُونَةَ ، فَوَضَعْتُ لَهُ وَضُوءًا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ، فَقَالَتْ لَهُ مَيْمُونَةُ : وَضَعَ لَكَ هَذَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ . فَقَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ فَقِّهُّ فِي الدِّينِ ، وَعَلِّمْهُ التَّأْوِيلَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the house of Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her). I placed water for his ablution at night. Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) informed him, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! This water has been placed for you by Abdullah ibn Abbas." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah! Grant him understanding of the religion and teach him the interpretation and explanation of the Book."
