ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3090

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ ، وَعُمَرُ يُحَدِّثُ النَّاسَ ، فَمَضَى حَتَّى أَتَى الْبَيْتَ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَهُوَ فِي بَيْتِ عَائِشَةَ ، فَكَشَفَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ بُرْدَ حِبَرَةٍ كَانَ مُسَجًّى بِهِ ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَى وَجْهِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، ثُمَّ أَكَبَّ عَلَيْهِ يُقَبِّلُهُ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " وَاللَّهِ لَا يَجْمَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ مَوْتَتَيْنِ ، لَقَدْ مِتَّ الْمَوْتَةَ الَّتِي لَا تَمُوتُ بَعْدَهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that after the blessed passing of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) entered the Prophet’s Mosque, Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was speaking before the people. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) walked to the room where the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had passed away, that is, the sacred chamber of Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her). Upon reaching there, he removed the striped sheet that had been placed over the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and as soon as he saw the radiant face, he leaned over it and began to kiss it. Then he said: By Allah! Allah will never combine two deaths upon you. The death that has come upon you is such that after it, you will never experience death again.
