It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once a Bedouin came to the presence of the Messenger of Allah and spoke very eloquently. Upon hearing this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some poetry is full of wisdom, and some speech has an effect like magic."
