ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 3022

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ ، قال : سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي يَزَيْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : أَتَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْخَلَاءَ ، فَوَضَعْتُ لَهُ وَضُوءًا ، فَلَمَّا خَرَجَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ وَضَعَ ذَا ؟ " قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ . قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ فَقِّههُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to the toilet, and I placed water for ablution behind him. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out, he asked, "Who placed this water?" It was told that Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) did. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah! Make him a jurist (one who understands religion)."
