Abu Al-Bakhtari says that once we were at "Dhat Irq" when the moon of Ramadan was sighted. We sent a man to ask Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) about this issue. In response, Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) mentioned this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Allah has granted ease in the matter of moon sighting, so if the moon is not seen, then complete the count of thirty days."
