Once, Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) was asked about the meaning of this Quranic verse: «﴿فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِي النَّاقُورِ﴾ [المدثر : 8]» "When the Trumpet will be blown." He said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How can I live a life of ease and comfort when the angel assigned to blow the Trumpet has already placed it in his mouth and has lowered his forehead, waiting to receive the command, so that as soon as he is ordered, he will blow it?" The noble Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "What supplication should we recite?" He replied: "Keep saying this: «حَسْبُنَا اللّٰهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ عَلَى اللّٰهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا»."
