ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2975

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَدْ مَسَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ ، فَاسْأَلُوا هَؤُلَاءِ الَّذِينَ يَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَسَحَ قَبْلَ نُزُولِ الْمَائِدَةِ ، أَوْ بَعْدَ الْمَائِدَةِ ؟ " وَاللَّهِ مَا مَسَحَ بَعْدَ الْمَائِدَةِ ، وَلَأَنْ أَمْسَحَ عَلَى ظَهْرِ عَابِرٍ بِالْفَلَاةِ ، أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَمْسَحَ عَلَيْهِمَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed masah (wiping) over the leather socks. But those people who think that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed masah before or after the revelation of Surah Al-Ma'idah, now ask them, by Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not perform masah over the leather socks after the revelation of Surah Al-Ma'idah, and even in the wilderness, I prefer to wipe over the back of a camel rather than perform masah over the leather socks. Benefit: This is the personal opinion of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), otherwise, from the statements of the majority of the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them), it is known that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed masah over the leather socks after the revelation of Surah Al-Ma'idah.
