ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2900

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَوْلَى آلِ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " كَانَ اسْمُ جُوَيْرِيَةَ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَرَّةَ ، فَحَوَّلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْمَهَا ، فَسَمَّاهَا جُوَيْرِيَةَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the name of Sayyidah Juwayriyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) was "Barrah", but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) changed her name to Juwayriyyah.
