Musnad Ahmad

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sacrificed one hundred camels on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, of which he slaughtered sixty with his own blessed hand and ordered others (Sayyiduna Ali, may Allah be pleased with him) to slaughter the rest. From each camel, a piece of meat was taken, all of which were collected in a pot and cooked together. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate from it and also drank its broth. And on the occasion of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, seventy camels were sacrificed, among which was also the camel of Abu Jahl. When they were prevented from going towards the House of Allah, those camels began to cry as if they were crying for their children.
