Musnad Ahmad
ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2870
اُردوEn
حَدَّثَنَاه أَسْوَدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، قَالَ : وَقَضَى ، وَقَالَ : أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ " قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الرِّكَازِ الْخُمُسَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) decreed that "one fifth of rikaz (buried treasure) is obligatory to be deposited in the Bayt al-Mal (public treasury)."
