ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2859

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حُكْمًا ، وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some poetry is full of wisdom, and some speech has an effect like magic."
