ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2820

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَمَّا قَالَ فِرْعَوْنُ : آمَنْتُ أَنَّهُ لا إِلَهَ إِلا الَّذِي آمَنَتْ بِهِ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ سورة يونس آية 90 ، قَالَ : قَالَ لِي جِبْرِيلُ : يَا مُحَمَّدُ ، لَوْ رَأَيْتَنِي وَقَدْ أَخَذْتُ حَالًا مِنْ حَالِ الْبَحْرِ ، فَدَسَّيْتُهُ فِي فِيهِ ، مَخَافَةَ أَنْ تَنَالَهُ الرَّحْمَةُ " . .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once Jibreel (peace be upon him) said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "If only you had seen me at that time when I was filling Pharaoh's mouth with black mud from the sea, so that the mercy of Allah would not come to his aid."
