ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2780

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَهُ , أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ أَخْبَرَهُ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " بَعَثَ بِكِتَابِهِ إِلَى كِسْرَى مَعَ رَجُلٍ ، وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَدْفَعَهُ إِلَى عَظِيمِ الْبَحْرَيْنِ ، فَدَفَعَهُ عَظِيمُ الْبَحْرَيْنِ إِلَى كِسْرَى ، فَلَمَّا قَرَأَهُ ، خَرَقَهُ , قَالَ : فَحَسِبْتُ أَنَّ ابْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، قَالَ : فَدَعَا عَلَيْهِمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُمَزَّقُوا كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent his blessed letter to Kisra by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Hudhafah (may Allah be pleased with him). He, according to the command of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), gave that letter to the governor of Bahrain appointed by Kisra so that he would present it to Kisra (as per custom). Thus, the governor of Bahrain presented that letter to Kisra. When he read the letter, he tore it up. Imam Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) says: In my opinion, Sa'id bin al-Musayyib said after this that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) invoked a curse against him that he too be completely torn to pieces in the same way.
