ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2770

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا دُوَيْدٌ ، عَنْ سَلْمِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْتَقَى مُؤْمِنَانِ عَلَى بَابِ الْجَنَّةِ مُؤْمِنٌ غَنِيٌّ ، وَمُؤْمِنٌ فَقِيرٌ ، كَانَا فِي الدُّنْيَا ، فَأُدْخِلَ الْفَقِيرُ الْجَنَّةَ , وَحُبِسَ الْغَنِيُّ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُحْبَسَ ، ثُمَّ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ ، فَلَقِيَهُ الْفَقِيرُ ، فَيَقُولُ : أَيْ أَخِي ، مَاذَا حَبَسَكَ ؟ وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ احْتُبِسْتَ حَتَّى خِفْتُ عَلَيْكَ , فَيَقُولُ : أَيْ أَخِي ، إِنِّي حُبِسْتُ بَعْدَكَ مَحْبِسًا فَظِيعًا كَرِيهًا ، وَمَا وَصَلْتُ إِلَيْكَ حَتَّى سَالَ مِنِّي الْعَرَقُ ، مَا لَوْ وَرَدَهُ أَلْفُ بَعِيرٍ ، كُلُّهَا آكِلَةُ حَمْضٍ ، لَصَدَرَتْ عَنْهُ رِوَاءً " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two Muslims met at the gate of Paradise; in the world, one of them was wealthy and the other was poor. The poor one entered Paradise, and the wealthy one was held back, and he was kept waiting as long as Allah willed. Then he too entered Paradise. There he met that poor man. The poor man asked him, 'Brother! What caused you to be so late? By Allah! You were so delayed that I began to worry.' He replied, 'Brother! After you, I was held back in such a way that it was an extremely difficult and unpleasant stage, and before reaching you, so much sweat poured from my body that if there had been a thousand hungry and thirsty camels, and they had drunk that sweat instead of water, they would have been satisfied.'"
