Hadith 27614

It is narrated from Hazrat Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) that I came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to pledge allegiance. When I approached the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), his gaze fell upon the two bangles I was wearing. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you pay zakat on these?" We replied: "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do you not fear that Allah may make you wear two bangles of fire in exchange for them? Pay their zakat."
