It is narrated from Hazrat Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) that I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to pledge allegiance. When I came near the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), his gaze fell upon the two bangles I was wearing. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Asma! Take off these two bangles. Do you not fear that Allah may make you wear two bangles of fire in exchange for them?" So I took them off, and I do not remember who took them after that.
