مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَسْمَاءَ ابْنَةِ يَزِيدَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَاFrom the Hadith of Asma' bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27565

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ , عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ , عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ , قَالَتْ : " تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَدِرْعُهُ مَرْهُونَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, his armor was held in pledge.
