Hadith 27527

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ , مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ , عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا , دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " , إِلَّا أَنَّ فِيهِ : " وَإِنْ رَغِمَ أَنْفُ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ".
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever from my Ummah dies in such a state that he does not associate anyone with Allah, he will enter Paradise. This hadith is also narrated from Hazrat Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him), but in it, it is stated: even if Abu Darda’s nose becomes dust-covered.
