Hadith 27501

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ , عَنْ سُفْيَانَ , عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ , عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ , عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ , قَالَتْ : دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ وَهُوَ مُغْضَبٌ , فَقُلْتُ لَهُ : مَا لَكَ ؟ فَقَالَ : " مَا أَعْرِفُ مِنْ أَمْرِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا الصَّلَاةَ .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Darda that once Hazrat Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) came to her in a state of extreme anger. She asked the reason, so he said, "By Allah! I do not see any of the Prophet's teachings among the people. Now, only this much remains that they gather together and perform the prayer."
