" إِنَّ الْكَذِبَ يُكْتَبُ كَذِبًا حَتَّى تُكْتَبَ الْكُذَيْبَةُ كُذَيْبَةً " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: I was the one who prepared Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and presented her to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and there were some other women with me. By Allah! We found nothing with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for hospitality except a bowl of milk. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) first drank from it himself, then handed the bowl to Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). She felt shy. We said to her: Do not return the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) hand, rather take the bowl. So, she shyly took the bowl and drank a little milk from it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Give it to your companions.” We said: We do not desire it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Do not combine hunger and lying.” I said: O Messenger of Allah! If any woman among us desires something but says she does not desire it, will that be counted as a lie? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “A lie is written as a lie, and a small lie is written as a small lie.”
