Hadith 27467

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى الْجُهَنِيُّ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ عَلِيٍّ , قالَتْ : حَدَّثَتْنِي أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ , قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " يَا عَلِيُّ , أَنْتَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى , إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ بَعْدِي نَبِيٌّ " .
Musa Jahni reports that once I was present in the service of Fatimah bint Ali, she said that Asma bint Umais (may Allah be pleased with her) told me that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "You have the same relation to me as Harun had to Musa, except that there will be no prophet after me."
