Ikrimah says that once there was a difference of opinion between Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding a woman who performs the Tawaf al-Ziyarah on the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah and immediately after that her menstruation begins. Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Ask Umm Sulaim (may Allah be pleased with her) about this. So they asked Umm Sulaim (may Allah be pleased with her), and she said: Yes, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave us this ruling.
