حَدِيثُ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّةِ اسْمُهَا نُسَيْبَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَاHadith of Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah, her name is Nusaybah (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 27303

حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ : " نُهِيَ عَنِ اتِّبَاعِ الْجَنَائِزِ ، وَلَمْ يُعْزَمْ عَلَيْنَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that we were forbidden from accompanying funeral processions, but this prohibition was not enforced strictly upon us.
