حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ , عَنْ يُونُسَ , عَنِ الْعَيْزَارِ بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الْحُصَيْنِ الْأَحْمَسِيَّةِ ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ وَاقِفٌ بِعَرَفَةَ ، وَعَلَيْهِ بُرْدَةٌ ، قَدْ الْتَفَعَ بِهَا ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : " اسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا , وَإِنْ أُمِّرَ عَلَيْكُمْ عَبْدٌ حَبَشِيٌّ مَا أَقَامَ فِيكُمْ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ " .
Yahya bin Husain narrates from his grandmother that I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying in the sermon of the Farewell Pilgrimage: O people! Fear Allah. Even if a slave is appointed over you who leads you according to the Book of Allah, then listen to him and obey him.
