حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ ابْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ , عن سُوَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ , عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ حُدَيْجٍ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ , أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ , خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Going out in the morning or evening in the way of Allah is better than the world and whatever is in it.
