Qais says that we went to visit Hazrat Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) when he was engaged in the construction of his garden. Seeing us, he said that a Muslim receives reward for everything except for what he plants in this soil. He had treated himself by cauterizing his stomach seven times and was saying that if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had not forbidden us from praying for death, I would surely have prayed for it.
