It is narrated from Hazrat Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that Hazrat Abdullah bin Abi Hadrad (may Allah be pleased with him) owed him some debt. Once, they met on the road, and Hazrat Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) caught hold of him. During their argument, their voices were raised. Meanwhile, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gestured to me and said that I should forgive half of his debt. So, he forgave half and took the remaining half of the money.
