It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once someone asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): O Messenger of Allah! After entering into Ihram, which animals are we allowed to kill? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no harm in killing five kinds of animals: the scorpion, the mouse, the kite, the crow, and the rabid dog."
