حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِم ، ٍقَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ غَنَّامٍ ، عَنْ عَمَّاتِهِ ، عَنْ أُمِّ فَرْوَةَ ، قَالَتْ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ ؟ قَالَ : " الصَّلَاةُ لِأَوَّلِ وَقْتِهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Farwah (may Allah be pleased with her) that a person asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the most virtuous deed, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "To perform the prayer at its earliest time."
