It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Ammarah (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to her house. She presented dates before the guests. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Umm Ammarah: "You also come near and eat." She informed that she was fasting. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that when food that breaks the fast is being eaten in front of a fasting person, the angels continue to pray for that fasting person until those people get up.
