حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلِ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ، عَنِ رُبَيِّعَ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ عِنْدَهَا ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ : " مَسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ مَجَارِيَ الشَّعْرِ مَا أَقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَمَا أَدْبَرَ ، وَمَسَحَ صُدْغَيْهِ ، وَأُذُنَيْهِ ، ظَاهِرَهُمَا وَبَاطِنَهُمَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Rabi’ (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed ablution at her place. I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wiping his head hair from front to back and back to front. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also wiped his temples and ears from inside and outside.
