Hadith 27020

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنْ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذٍ ، قَالَتْ : أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقِنَاعٍ فِيهِ رُطَبٌ وَأَجْرُ زُغْبٍ ، فَوَضَعَ فِي يَدِي شَيْئًا ، فَقَالَ : " تَحَلَّيْ بِهَذَا ، وَاكْتَسِي بِهَذَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Rabi’ (may Allah be pleased with her) that once I presented myself before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a tray containing some fresh dates and some squirrels. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed something in my hand and said: "Make jewelry out of it or make clothes out of it."
