Hadith 27018

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ ، قَالَتْ : أَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَوَضَعْنَا لَهُ الْمِيضَأَةَ ، " فَتَوَضَّأَ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا ، وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ ، بَدَأَ بِمُؤَخَّرِهِ ، وَأَدْخَلَ أُصْبُعَيْهِ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Rabi’ (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to our place. We placed a vessel of water for ablution before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) washed his limbs three times each, wiped his head twice, and began the wiping from the back of his head. He inserted his fingers into the holes of his ears.
