Hadith 26993

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ بَابٍ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ خَتَنٌ كَانَ لِعَطَاءٍ , قال : أَخْرَجَتْ لَنَا أَسْمَاءُ جُبَّةً مَزْرُورَةً بِدِيبَاجٍ ، قَالَتْ : قَدْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا لَقِيَ الْحَرْبَ ، لَبِسَ هَذِهِ " .
Abdullah says that once Hazrat Asma showed me a green robe which had about a span’s width of Kisrawani silk stripes on it, and both its cuffs were made of silk. She told me that this robe was worn by the Prophet (peace be upon him).
