حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ , ح وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ , قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ , أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : إِحْدَانَا يُصِيبُ ثَوْبُهَا مِنْ دَمِ الْحَيْضَةِ ؟ قَالَ : " تَحُتُّهُ ، ثُمَّ لِتَقْرِضْهُ بِالْمَاءِ ، ثُمَّ تَنْضَحْهُ ، ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي فِيهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that a woman came to the court of the Prophet and said, "O Messenger of Allah! What is the ruling if menstrual blood gets on a woman's body (or clothes)?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Scrape it off, then wash it with water, and pray in it."
