Hadith 26944

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ مَوْلَى أَسْمَاءَ , قَالَ : " أَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيْنَا أَسْمَاءُ جُبَّةً مَزْرُورَةً بِالدِّيبَاجِ ، فَقَالَتْ : فِي هَذِهِ كَانَ يَلْقَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَدُوَّ " .
Abdullah says that once Hazrat Asma showed me a green cloak in which there were handspan-wide stripes of Kisrawani silk. She told me that this cloak was worn by the Prophet (peace be upon him) when facing the enemy.
