حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ مَوْلَى أَسْمَاءَ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ ، قَالَ : أَخْرَجَتْ إِلَيَّ جُبَّةً طَيَالِسَةً ، عَلَيْهَا لَبِنَةُ شَبْرٍ مِنْ دِيبَاجٍ كِسْرَوَانِيٍّ ، وَفَرْجَاهَا مَكْفُوفَانِ بِهِ ، قَالَتْ : " هَذِهِ جُبَّةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَلْبَسُهَا ، كَانَتْ عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ ، فَلَمَّا قُبِضَتْ عَائِشَةُ ، قَبَضْتُهَا إِلَيَّ ، فَنَحْنُ نَغْسِلُهَا لِلْمَرِيضِ مِنَّا ، يَسْتَشْفِي بِهَا " .
Abdullah says that once Hazrat Asma showed me a green cloak which had about a handspan of Kisrawani silk stripes on it, and both its cuffs were made of silk. She told me that this cloak was worn by the Prophet (peace be upon him), and it was with Hazrat Aisha. After Hazrat Aisha's passing, it came to me, and whenever anyone among us fell ill, we would wash it and seek healing through it.
