حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ . ح وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : إِحْدَانَا يُصِيبُ ثَوْبَهَا مِنْ دَمِ الْحَيْضَةِ ؟ قَالَت : " َحُتُّهُ ثُمَّ لِتَقْرُصْهُ بِالْمَاءِ ، ثُمَّ لِتَنْضَحْهُ ، ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي فِيهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that a woman came to the presence of the Prophet and said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the ruling if menstrual blood gets on a woman's body (or clothes)?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Scrape it off, then wash it with water, and pray in it."
