حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , وَفَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ الْمُنْذِرِ , عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ ، قَالَتْ : صَنَعْتُ سُفْرَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فِي بَيْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ حِينَ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُهَاجِرَ , قَالَتْ : فَلَمْ نَجِدْ لِسُفْرَتِهِ وَلَا لِسِقَائِهِ مَا نَرْبِطُهُمَا بِهِ , قَالَتْ : فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ : وَاللَّهِ مَا أَجِدُ شَيْئًا أَرْبِطُهُ بِهِ إِلَّا نِطَاقِي , قَالَ : فَقَالَ شُقِّيهِ بِاثْنَيْنِ ، فَارْبِطِي بِوَاحِدٍ السِّقَاءَ ، وَالْآخَرِ السُّفْرَةَ ، فَلِذَلِكَ سُمِّيَتْ : ذَاتَ النِّطَاقَيْنِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Asma that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) intended to migrate, I prepared the travel provisions for the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the house of Hazrat Abu Bakr. I had to tie the travel provisions and the mouth of the water-skin, but I could not find anything for this purpose. I said to Hazrat Abu Bakr that I am not finding anything to tie the travel provisions except my waistband. He said, "Tear it into two pieces; tie the mouth of the water-skin with one piece and the travel provisions with the other." Because of this, I was given the name "Dhat an-Nitaqain" (the possessor of two waistbands).
