حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ الْعَبْدِيِّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ ، قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ قِرَاءَةَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِاللَّيْلِ ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَرِيشِي " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Hani that I was listening to the recitation of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the middle of the night; at that time, I was on the roof of my own house and the Prophet (peace be upon him) was near the Ka'bah.
