حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ حُنَيْنٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ , أَنَّهَا رَأَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ ، مُخَالِفًا بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ ، ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ بِمَكَّةَ ، يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Umm Hani that on the day of the conquest of Makkah, she saw the Prophet (peace be upon him) wrapped well in a cloth, performing eight rak'ahs, and he had thrown both ends of the cloth over his shoulders in opposite directions.
