Hadith 26894

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَبُو زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِلَالٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ خَبَّابٍ , قَالَ : نَزَلْتُ أَنَا وَمُجَاهِدٌ عَلَى يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ بْنِ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ فَحَدَّثَنَا , عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ ، قَالَتْ : " أَنَا أَسْمَعُ قِرَاءَةَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي جَوْفِ اللَّيْلِ ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَرِيشِي هَذَا ، وَهُوَ عِنْدَ الْكَعْبَةِ " .
Ibn Khabbab says that once I and Mujahid went to Yahya bin Ja'dah, and he narrated this hadith to us from Hazrat Umm Hani that I was listening to the recitation of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the middle of the night. At that time, I was on the roof of my house and the Prophet (peace be upon him) was near the Ka'bah.
