حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ كُهَيْلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ صَفْوَانَ ، عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ حُيَيٍّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا يَنْتَهِي النَّاسُ عَنْ غَزْوِ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا بِبَيْدَاءَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ ، خُسِفَ أَوَّلُهُمْ وَآخِرُهُمْ ، وَلَمْ يَنْجُ أَوْسَطُهُمْ " , قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، يَكُونُ فِيهِمْ الْمُكْرَهُ ؟ قَالَ : " يَبْعَثُهُمْ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَا فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Safiyyah that I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "An army will surely set out with the intention of attacking this House (the Ka'bah). When they reach a place called Bayda, the middle part of their army will be swallowed by the earth, and neither the front nor the rear part will be saved, nor those in the middle." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what will happen to those who were forced to join this army?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "No, they will be resurrected according to their intentions."
